Is this worth it even if you don't plan on putting 27 inch monitors on it? Don't want to get the TW version if I don't have to (not that the regular version is cheaper than the MD price for the TW one).

Nhb93Depends on the monitors you're planning to put on it. I use it with three 24'' inch monitors (Dell U2414H), and I imagine that it would be a pretty tight fit without the telescoping wings. According to reviews it works, but I'm glad I got the TW version (also the only version that was readily available over here, so it's not like I had much of a choice).
Had the stand for a few weeks now and I like it so far. Cable management is pretty basic, but it looks good from the front. Some of the screws were pretty overtorqued, so setting it up wasn't as easy as I would have liked. The whole thing seems pretty sturdy and my subwoofer fits perfectly on the base, so I'm happy.

OctaneI've had this stand for some number of months, now. 1 27" in the center with 2 24"ers flanking it. It's a nice stand because of the telescoping bits. Allows for future upgradability and you're not just limited to 24" monitors like with the standard 3 monitor mounts.

Nhb93Hey there,
This stand can support smaller monitors as well. The neat part is that even if you are not using 27", the extra extension gives you more room to tilt the exterior monitors inward to get that cockpit feel. Also, if you ever decide to go bigger than 24" monitors this stand will be able to support that without having to buy new parts.
