Not bad
For the price, the quality of this products isn't bad. So far the edge has held fairly well and the handle is comfortable enough. I would recommend this product, but only if you can find it at a good price.

Great!!
solid knife. Not the sharpest but its not really meant to me either. Fit and finish on the handle is a little spotty but this thing is a work horse and will be used as such so who cares. But she is a looker.

Esee delivers
This is the 2nd Esee knife I've purchased. Very very solid and well made blades for the money. One thing that sold me on the Izula which I assume is a warranty they stand behind all of their blades was a story that a guy called Esee and asked them if their warranty covered the blade if he shot it with a gun. And they said yes, so then he took it to the range, and put a round through it. Called back Esee and they sent him a new knife. So the company is definitely worth supporting. This is a bit of a niche blade. Definitely not something you will constantly have a use for. But on that next camping trip it will definitely come in useful. My only complaint is I wish the scales were slightly larger, and perhaps with a bit more non-straight shape. It feels like something that would turn and slip in my hand if I start to sweat.

Not really long enough to be used as a machete, but very good blade that makes a good camp knife or cleaver. I have other ESEE knives and have never been disappointed in any of them.

Kinda chinsy and whack
Honestly, I've bought Facebook Chinese knives I liked more than this. It's not a good knife. Fat metal blade. Crappy handle. Doesn't feel good. Anyone who says they like this knife is seriouly lacking good knives. Look up my profile. There's another drop knife for 15 more that's a ton better than this one. Save your cash. Not this knife.

ScootinHit it with some steam out of an iron through a cloth, it should reduce considerably.
