Really Massdrop? At least do better research... you shouldve sold the Izula which is the mainstay for Esee. A massdrop 440C exclusive color Izula. You're welcome. Make it happen.

I'm pretty sure the Drop buyers are sitting there going 'yeah, no shit'. The Imlay is a specialist's knife. I don't climb rocks or rappel down canyon walls, so the Imlay's specialization isn't important to me. The Izula on the other hand is one of ESEE's most popular knives, it's routinely on peoples' 'must own' list, and it works in a whole wide range of situations where it'll outperform something like the Imlay. I, too, would rather have an Izula over the Imlay, which is very specialized, almost like a dive knife, and looks kind of fiddly. The issue is that ESEE doesn't need Drop to sell as many of them as they want. They sell the Izula like hotcakes. They don't need to offer anyone else a deal that'd undercut their already high performing retailers. They, or one of those retailers, are only going to offer it to Drop if they have a bunch on hand that needs to move, or if Drop is willing to pay a price for them that leaves Drop very little margin even if they price it slightly above market. Deal sourcing 101. The Imlay, because it's much more specialized and less attractive to a broad audience, has been kicking around a bit and there's less natural demand for it, so people have it in their inventory when Drop come calling for a deal. That's why it's here instead of the Izula.
