A classic three-pocket carrier made from an equally classic piece of leather, this Eternal Leather wallet is done completely by hand with saddle stitching and hand-burnished edges and bevels. Made from Hermann Oak leather, it features a card compartment on each side and a pocket in the center—enough for the necessities without taking up too much space. The stitching is reinforced at the stress points so it won’t come apart, even with a good yank. Of course, since it’s made from Hermann Oak’s vegetable-tanned leather, the wallet will develop a natural patina over time. The resulting look will change with you every single day.
Note: This drop is limited to 200 units.
Hermann Oak started when founder Lewis Charles Hermann began tanning leather in St. Louis, Missouri in 1881 to facilitate the local harness trade. Since, three more generations of Hermanns have followed in Lewis’s footsteps. Though the Hermann Oak tanning process hasn’t changed much over the years, they’ve been able to adapt to modern necessities. Using the finest natural tree bark, their tanning liquors offer richness and texture. The leather is soaked in ground-vats until firm, strong, and tight—and fit to last a lifetime.
