I appreciate you being a bit transparent. But I will say , I have been plugged into these markets for 30+ years and because of this I have MANY connections throughout the country. I have owned a brick and mortar more than once and continue to fund others . IF this were a high-end sports card product like Flawless where they will have a set number of cases and boxes with all cards #'ed and printing plates included in the final product I would have no issue with product being sold above MSRP. (see prices of Flawless Soccer ). The product is strictly finite to an exact #. Wotc , though , retains the right to print more of a product after release. Now, this will be more "Limited" in comparison to a standard release but is it so rare that people need to chase it up before release? make sure they buy it before it is "SOLD OUT" ? ....no! Yesterday and today I was called by a couple associates asking for loans to help pay for "additional" EMA cases distributors were making available to them. There is no reason for Wotc to not have a couple printings of this release. They would benefit from the additional product as their sales are directly tied to these "additional " cases as they do not see money from secondary sales. ALSO the purpose of this product and Modern Masters is to try and bring secondary prices of original cards down AND to get more of these "new" cards into more of what they hope is a growing market. All this being said I DO NOT begrudge ANYBODY or any ENTITY for selling as much as they possibly can at these prices. We live in 'MERICA !
