AcdiburnIn my opinion, the er2se Is a step up from the er3 and even the er4. The fundamental difference lies in the fact that the upper ER models are balanced armatures and the ER2s are dynamic drivers (they sound wider, more natural, more detailed, way better timbre, etc). Hope this helps even if it's real late :)
I've just received these from the most recent drop. Unfortunately they didn't include the dual-flange tips, although some people have reported them being included. Just something to bear in mind if you purchase from here.
skydog198Would really love to know about this before ordering, I am guessing the discount is because they are trying to sell the old packaging without the double flange ear tips included, as they are bringing the new packaging out this month from my conversation with them.
Finally got down to ordering this after seeing that it's only $70 compared to my local dealer's $120-$130 store price. So I opted for the cheaper alternative with the long wait time. It takes about 2 to 3 months for a Drop to get to me, but I don't mind as long as I get it cheap. It's also kinda like a christmas present I've been waiting for. :) Will probably get it by December.
