I don't like it. I would give the mid-range an A+, the bass a C+, and the treble a D. I would give the isolation an A+. The cable has very little noise from bumping or rubbing against clothing, etc. (compared to some others). I like that the cable is removable, and that both the cable and IEMs are very light. I also like that they are not so easy to drive that my lesser sources are dominated by noise (looking at you Bluewave GET, and CTH), but they are definitely not hard to drive. If they were cheeper they would get a much better review from me, but I have too many IEMs that I like more. These are OK when I listen to them at low volumes, but they get sibilant quickly on certain songs as I turn up the volume {and I don't listen at really high volumes, I where Etymotic ear plugs (which I highly recommend) to the movie theater}.

MemoryerrorIt would help if you elucidated on the C+ and D ratings for bass and treble, respectively. If you find them sibilant and the bass lacking, I reckon you didn't achieve a good seal with the tips you'd tried. EDIT: if you still have them, try the Comply P series tips. I use them with the ER3-SE and they have plenty of bass and decent sub-bass. Not particularly fun, but definitely there in very decent volume and excellent quality.

SlapoI had them pushed in until the stems touched my ears. The three tree pushed on my ears and they got sore over time. It blocked out noise really well. So I think I had a pretty good seal. It's been a while since I have used them, so I don't remember exactly what I did and didn't like about the bass. But, from my notes back then, some examples of songs I found sibilant on the ER2XR and not on others includes: Cut your teath A sad morning, every morning ~ 2:35 Opus 37 - Dustin O'Halloran 20 Msec. - Ryuichi Sakamoto If you are looking for a good single dynamic driver IEM, I would highly recommend the SuperBestAudioFriends modded JVC HA-FD01. Drop has them already modded and cheeper than I bought them for (HA-FDX1).

Memoryerrorit sounds like you might have pushed them slightly too far, try different tips that fit your ear canal better, and not pushing them in as deep. If I am right then you should get bass back and your treble should be less pokey. Foams will help this even more. Tip-rolling is important! :)
