Cant wait for these to arrive. I've been using a set of SE535's Since 2012 and haved LOVED them and just replaced the OEM white filters with new Knowles white filters and I must say they sound even better but after 7 years with them I felt I got my money's worth and started feeling I could justify an upgrade to SE846 and just about pulled the trigger on them but in checking the reviews of the ER4s I found many comparisons against the SE846s and and 535. Frankly, I find it hard to believe that a single BA IEM can be in the same league as a well established 3 or 5 driver Shure but if these things are half as good as the SE846 for 1/3rd the price, well I'm prepared to be blown away .... There were just too many people singing the praises of these ER4XRs for it to be simple mind tricks and aural justification. But can it really be true? Really? Anyway looking forward to their arrival and I'll post a review from my perspective with an A/B vs the Shure SE535 which I really do love. One of these set will be converted to BT Cycling and Gym IEMs; which will it be? Stay to tuned around July 1st.

No_username_availableThanks for asking. I ended up cancelling the order and never got the SE846 either. I went on a binge and picked up the Tin P1, oBravo Cupid, Beyerdynamic Xelento and Sennheiser IE800. The 800s are my cycling buds. The P1s are absolutely astounding in terms of clarity, resolution, detail and sibilant free sparkle. The Xelentos are my new favorites across the board with great bass, mids and treble - and easy to drive. I think I made the right choice, for my preferred listening style, to cancel the Etys.
