Do these meet OSHA requirements? Or are they just general sound "dampening"?

Yes.
I am 3rd party electrical/automation, so I go into all kinds of different factories.
And a lot of them require ear protection. And I would much rather be 100% compliant. And is kinda why I would even have these.

Noise Reduction with HD5 Earphones Use of these earphones at full volume on portable music players is within OSHA Permissible Exposure Limits for 10 ½ hours per day (52 ½ hours per week). Ambient noise levels up to 108 dB (foam eartips) or up to 102 dB with 3-flange eartips does not significantly affect overall noise dose.

My question isn't on the earbuds PLAYING music, it is on how much they deaden the ambient noise levels.
