scottluI could imagine professional studio musicians would appreciate not having to insert/reinsert passives every time they had a conversation in the midst of their work day, while still having the insurance of continual protection.
For a more typical scenario like a concert goer, passives are going to be the better option.

I suppose these are for professional use rather than Mack's 50-for-$15 plugs (which are awesome, by the way).
