If this is the small ignore this drop, they are too small for teens and adults. I had to cut off the smallest flange on the tip to get a good seal. Qualitywise it was awesome to hear Clearly at a lower volume ( in machinery environment).

All kinds of wrong here, Usagi. The small size is the only one that fits a few adult I know.
If you are cutting these ER-20s, you are reduce the protection bellow 20db! You should be using proper 30db+ protection in a machinery environment!

The environment I worked in was under the OSHA maximum safety noise levels for 8 hours, so it worked fine for my purposes. Most people at my job didn't even use any hearing protection. Regarding the size, the earplugs went too deep for my ears and felt uncomfortable, so the tip went.
Well in the end, some protection is better than nothing. I really gotta pickup the large size ones sometime for a better fit and to get a good seal.
