I was looking for some noise-cancelling earplugs so after some mild research, decided to pick these up off Amazon. Figure I'd start with something relatively cheap so if I hate them, I won't be out too much money. These earplugs are a god send. I make sure to bring them to every concert I go to (3 to 4 so far in past couple months). The best way to describe the sound quality is similar to how your ears normally feel after a long concert. You will still hear conversations plenty fine but the music isn't overwhelming and head-hurting anymore. I enjoy anything from metal to electronica and will definitely be in the mosh pit whenever possible. I've had them fall out maybe once when I was a sweaty mess and someone wound up pulling on the string.
After a nice ear-blasting rock concert, I'll take them out, get into my car and you will be amazed by how much you can notice a world of difference compared to not having any protection. My ears have no signs of that annoying ringing and almost immediately I feel like my before-concert self whereas normally you spend the whole next day trying to recuperate your headspace.
For your own sake, if you enjoy any amount of concert going, I absolutely recommend everyone buy some sort of ear protection like this. Not endorsing this particular brand, they work well for me, might try something else but definitely get something to protect your ears. The money is well-worth.
