Better than what I expected
I purchased the top of the line Eve V - i7 @1.30 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD for $1099. I'm telling you right now that I feel as if I stole this computer from Massdrop, it's that awesome. I'm not a power user and I'm not a gamer - I'm a medical student - so my review might be a bit lacking in some areas, but I'll do my best. Most of the negatives you've read about the tablet are pretty much spot on: 1) there's no good place to store the stylus (the magnet is kind of weak), 2) the USB-C charging cable comes loose easily so you might think it's been plugged in and charging for 3 hours when it hasn't charged a bit, and 3) the power button is a bit stiff (so you have to hold the opposite side of the tablet to depress the power button which means you're now potentially interfering with the USB-C charging cable). 4) Some reviews have mentioned that the microfiber covering on the keyboard is strange. I kind of like it, though it does pick up some animal fur, crumbs, and dust. 5) I have had some issues using the stylus in OneNote. I prefer to handwrite my notes (synced to audio), and OneNote is perfect for that. However, I've had trouble with my palm press on the screen activating some functions when trying to write with the stylus. I've adjusted the settings in OneNote and in the Windows 10 settings, but it really hasn't done much. I don't know if it's a OneNote thing, a Windows 10 thing, or an Eve V thing. But it's definitely annoying. 6) No keypad on the side like on larger laptops. I miss having a keypad, but not a deal breaker. Pros: 1) For what I paid, it was a steal. I have a Surface Pro quality computer with the same functionality for about 50-60% of the cost of a Surface Pro. 2) It's fast - the startup time is pretty quick. Once I press the power button, it goes to a "Made by us" screen, then the windows logon screen. A quick tap on the power button (which has a fingerprint sensor built in, and I'm on my desktop). 3) I was worried that the screen might be too small - I don't recall the dimensions, but they picked the right proportions to make the screen appear large without sacrificing quality. It's nice. 4) I just like it. I can't think of any more technical details to include, but when I started using it I realized that this is going to be the computer that I use for a long time. It does everything that my laptop does and it's smaller, lighter, and faster. For something that's already 2 years old, the Eve V has been a real pleasure to use. I think I've seen cheaper prices for the Eve V, but I don't know if they're the top of the line model that I have. Regardless, I feel that the price I paid was a steal. I would highly recommend buying the Eve V to anybody (as long as it's done through an intermediary, like Massdrop/Drop!). If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.

HoofHearted69_420I'm glad you got your EVE V, but for me I'm still waiting. I've been waiting over 1 1/2 years. I order my V on Dec 4, 2017. The computer is probably fine but it's the company, the owners that are rotten to the core. They are a bunch of thieves that care less if you receive your V or not. They robbed me of my money. Beware if you plan to buy from this company. They ruined my faith in startup companies.

HoofHearted69_420I have had the worst experience with Eve. I got my computer on time, but the keyboard didn't work. Customer service took more than a day to respond every time I emailed, then said I would have a new keyboard in 14 business days. That's already way too long. They threatened that they wouldn't send a new one if I disputed the charge. Finally, after 14 business days and no responses from them except the occasional apologies for the delay, I disputed the charge. Never heard from them.
