Great tactile switch
What can I say, it's a nice tactile switch, the bump is really high up. So if you like that its nice. To me It feels exactly the oreo switch, which was trying to feel just like the holy panda. It's not quite as nice as the holy panda, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper and it's purple!
Would recommend to a friend.
Oreos have much lighter springs than holy pandas and i was actually able to get them even lighter without having return issues. You can’t really so that on glorious pandas or HPs because then the switch won’t return btw!
Great point, I totally forgot how light the Oreo switches are, what is it 45g or something? It's pretty nice honestly, since the HPs are pretty stiff. And as long as your keycaps aren't too heavy! hahahha
I still want to try these, seems like you like them and I love Oreos, so looking forward to checking them out!
Yeah, Oreos are like 45g initial and then the bottom out (or total spring weight) is 62g, so it’s light but not so light it causes many issues! I used MT3 profile on my Oreos and everything works fine, but I did read in the comments of this switch that some people have issues with sticky switches, but idk maybe they are using SA keycaps.
I loveee the sound of HP/GP but I type so much that the 67g springs cause fatigue unfortunately. I did swap in 58g springs into the Oreos and they worked for everything but the spacebar. But at that super light weight Oreos are def my all time favorite switches.
Yeah! I did really like these, tactile just how I like it. It was especially appealing under a clear keycap/artisan, that purple looked so cool. Then I fell in love with the Zilent 62g silent tactile switches, I prefer a light switch too. It's funny, I actually ended up selling my Violet Everglides to my buddy Voxel (@Voxelmods cables). He loves em, and last I heard they're still his daily drivers! (he REALLY likes purple haha)
I hope you end up liking em!
