Can be very loud if you dont mod your case, but are very responsive for tactile switches.
I got these after using T1s for a while. (browns before that, as well as topre) I have been on a search for a tactile switch that I can game on as well as type comfortably at work. These seem to be the good middle ground I was looking for, my problem with the T1s is that they are kind of "sluggish" if that makes any kind of sense, when typing you dont notice it as much but when gaming you notice the slight lag in return speed. (though I may have just over-lubed the T1s I will clean off a set and try them as stock as I can get them) The problem I have with topre is that the 45g domes that are on my HHKB make it very hard to game accurately for me - just resting my fingers on the board can lead to misinputs. (such as laying down on the ground right in front of gluhar on reserve) Be warned though, these can be very very very loud, they have a sharp (clack) when you actuate the switch which I have determined comes from the switch itself and not bottoming out noise from the keycaps hitting my backplate (though that could be a possibility for some setups) ^^^ after doing some mods to my keyboard (adding some thick foam under the pcb, lube and band-aids to the stabs the case noise is significantly reduced. and now the sound is more akin to a pleasant plasticy clack. not quite a "thock" of like say a novelkey cream Overall I really like these switches, though I do wish the sound profile was quite a bit deeper, but the sound has grown on me somewhat. If I use lower quality keycaps the sound is quite a bit worse but very pleasant after mods with GMK keycaps.
