I've been eating for an affordable sewing table of the right height. I have multiple machines and don't want to purchase a separate table for each machine. Can we purchase more than one insert?

I agree, with most about the space to the right of the cutout. I think if the drawers were on the left and the cutout were closer to the right side, this would be perfect

Do you ship to Hawaii? Also does this come with the clear plastic table insert (the kind that if I specify my make and model, it will fit perfectly)?

The weight of the machine is not an issue for these desks. You will need to measure your machine and make sure it fits into the opening though.
Machine table cutout dimensions: 21 x 11.5 in (53.3 x 29.2 cm)
- Max machine size for cutout: 20 x 8 in (50.8 x 20.3 cm)

How deep is the area that your sewing machine sits on, or is that determined by the make and model of your sewing machine.

That would depend on the sewing machine. I am waiting on desk dimensions to the left and right of the opening though.

I already have a sewing desk but I wish it had more room to the right for sewing items as I had to buy an extension shelf. I only have one drawer and wish I had more.
