Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the ExOfficio BugsAway Lumen Wrap and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 8/1.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 7/20.

I'm not really interested in a scarf, but I really like other ExOfficio clothing that I own. Please keep offering them!

Hey All - thanks for the feedback. My intention in naming this drop ("anti-Zika") was to alert our community to possible uses of a BugsAway product, as many people are not familiar with this line from ExOfficio. It is not a marketing ploy or the result of any mischivous corporate entity. It was literally my decision to name it thus, in response to numerous questions from community members, friends and family. Many people are concerned about mosquitoes when backpacking and traveling. The Lumen Wrap is one way to aid in the defense of Zika and several other pathogens. I've changed the name back due to your collective input. Thanks @Jamj @westcoast @ag3nt

This is honestly either naivety or shameful marketing on massdrops part.
I am totally fine including Anti-Zika in the write up as they did but to throw it in the title just feels like opportunist marketing based on current fears. Plus if they plan to include it in the title they should also note somewhere that permethrin resistant mosquitoes do exist.
http://www.cdc.gov/zika/pdfs/travelcounceling-fs.pdf
"In some places, such as Puerto Rico, there is widespread permethrin resistance, and it is unlikely to be effective."
http://safebabybmt.paragondsi.com/zika-update-mosquitoes-developing-resistance-to-insecticide/
“The CDC has confirmed that Zika-spreading mosquitoes have begun developing a resistance to insecticide; specifically, the world’s top mosquito repellent. This compound, called permethrin, was once hailed as a safer, more environmentally-friendly, yet still effective alternative to harsher chemicals. Now, however, it seems permethrin has outlived its usefulness.
Roberto Barrera, chief of entomology and ecology activity of the Dengue Branch at the CDC, says he’s received reports of resistance in both Puerto Rico and parts of Mexico.
“[Permethrin] probably won’t work well in the places where it has been used as the main insecticide for many years. You’re not going to be able to kill off most of the mosquitoes,” Barrera said.

I think advertising this as anti-zika is slightly dishonest as it's not strictly true. That's like advertising insect repellent as anti-malaria.
