I really wish the GamerGate brigade didn't tarnish this one with their political bs. Game is really fun and has great table presence.

The designer and the man accused of the attack are 2 different people.

The rulebook lists Matt Fantastic as a CO-Designer in the back page of the credits. Not a thank you. Not just an honorable mention. But a co-designer. It can be a reasonable conclusion that he is therefore receiving some monetary benefit from sales.

He is listed with another person under co-design, but not on equal footing with Alex Cutler. The game may provide no financial benefit to Matt Fantastic, or any benefit to him may have been upfront and not tied to sales. Board gaming companies do not have large profit margins. It is quite possible that the co-design credit was all he got. Alex is the only one listed under design, and the only name on the front of the box. He and the publisher are the ones really taking the hits, not the man accused of attacking anyone. That's a lot of guilt by association and collateral damage.

Wish I could down vote this...why sell a game by a guy that assaults others at Gen-Con....

Ehhh. Here's an article about it. Sounds like a lot of people have their mind made up about things without investigating. https://www.indystar.com/story/news/crime/2018/08/03/gen-con-indianapolis-gaming-commentator-conservative-views-punched/896816002/

So I'm totally uninformed on this whole thing, I just like playing board games every now and then, sounds like everyone involved has difficulties coexisting like adults. It's a shame that political ideologues dominate the "news" even in this realm.
