I was a bit skeptical about how I'd like this design, but it works great. Pulling out the cards is a little inconvenient, but I don't do that often and the space savings is worth it. It does seem to block one of my access cards, which is a bit annoying, but I think the fault lies with some of the readers being weaker than others, because at some locations it works fine, and at others I have to slide the card out for it to read.
