Great for the price
Pretty straightforward; Stone is a bit small, but great for pocket knives and easy to carry.

Great sanding stone at reasonable price
Diamond and ceramic grit works fine and is perfect for honing or maintaining the edge on your field or kitchen knives. Got it for about US$40 each without shipping

It's a good size.
It's large enough for me to do a smaller butcher knife on. It puts a razor edge on D2 steel. It's a decent sharpener and it seems well made. I kind of want to try an axe head on it. No complaints, just wish the box was a bit better made as I keep it in it and it's getting a bit mangled.

Very handy in the kitchen
This is my first experience with a whetstone and I’m rather pleased so far. the day it arrived I immediately put it to work by attempting to sharpen one of the older, more dull knives in our kitchen. As others have pointed out, I believe the diamond side needs a little wear before becoming appropriately efficient, BUT, it did the job just fine and moderately sharpened the blade. I look forward to practicing with it more, but I’m pretty satisfied already. It does what it’s supposed to do, is a nice size, and at a nice price. Hard to go wrong if you need a whetstone and you’re not able to drop a sack of cash on larger or fancier stones. Excellent kitchen companion.

Great small pocket stone
I love this little thing and also have the same type in the large stone (the 521 I believe). Like everyone else I purchased this for the diamond side. As time has gone on, it has definitely changed to where the diamond side removes way less material. I guess you could say it has to be broken in a bit. I hardly use the ceramic side but since this is kinda a "on the go" stone its nice to have it. I'd prefer one with the white ceramic and diamond but do not know if it exists. Anyways both this tiny stone and the large stone are extremely effective at sharpening a certain steel that was almost unresponsive to any other stone I have. When it comes to maxamet knives this stone is the only one I have that does the job. I dont have any DMT stones but I hear they are great as well. Anyways if you are having trouble sharpening a maxamet knife this does the trick. Mine also came pretty quickly.
