To anyone who actually owns this knife: is it worth the hefty price tag? Or would I be better off buying 5 or 6 $30-40 knives?
I personally think it is well worth it, but I've always had the "buy once, cry once" mentality. Besides, you can only really use one knife at a time :P
Love the buy once cry once apology
It's an excellent knife that will serve well in survival and bushcraft applications. It's generally regarded as one of the best survival knives you can get in stainless steel and in general. Fallknivens prices have steadily been increasing over the years. I would consider its current cost avg of about $200 for the A1 approaching the limit of its value, as Bark River makes a similar design and function with better steels and unconditional lifetime warranty at a slightly higher cost.
What do they say? Two hands, two beers, one mouth... now that's a drinking problem!
