When I saw the A1, I thought, great deal but I have a bruiser Scrapyard 711 in that class and knives that size just aren't used often enough to justify getting multiples. Then came the S1. A knife I have lusted after with its very usable size, convex edge and famous quality but, I have multiple knives in this contested size from my Spyderco Bush craft to excellent budget Varusteleka puuko and prized Guardian 4 in M390. It would be pointless outside of pure collecting. Now this. The Kolt. A Fallkniven I never even heard of. I have to get this! Yeah, I have the Spyderco Street beat but it's more a defensive style blade. Besides, small fixed blades are very usable having superior control 9ver its entire length and easily carried. This design looks very ergonomic, has the latest Cos steel sandwich and, most impressive, the full convex blade, no saber. The leather danger is definitely a bonus though the cheap plastic slave will likely get most use if my plan to mount it inside my edc satchel works out. Looking forward to handling this little beauty.
