Handmade with impressive strength and a sure grip, the NL5cxL fixed blade from Fallkniven is a heavy-duty companion unlike any other. Its blade is made from Cowry X Damascus Steel—one of the world’s finest edge steels, with the Cowry composition achieving a hardness of 64 HRC. On the sides, 120-layer stainless Damascus steel ensures reliable cutting performance that will last for years. A hand-shaped convex edge ensures maximum versatility with character and quality that can’t be replicated by assembly line machines. On the handle, specially selected oxhide gives the knife a rugged look and a natural grip. Over time, the oxhide will age beautifully and acquire a brown patina, all while staying impervious to water, oil, and other solvents. Each NL5cxL knife comes with a black leather sheath.
