if looks and feel matter to you then these are for you
I've tried some cheaper sleeved xlr's and always had issues with them (usually being impossible to bend, crappy feeling or just awful connectors) if these were $30 I would say for sure go for it but not really adding any features over say cable matters cables besides the sleeve and maybe better shielding so $40 for this is ehhh compared to like $15 for a pair of cable matters also wish they had options for slightly longer cables and weren't as stiff but it's workable
