Its worth going to Balanced, my only complain if there is one would be that the plugs are hard to insert, I had to mod mine, giving it a little harmless shave on the plastic.

good cable.

this cable doesn't really have any "snake oil" effects to it even plugged into a 789 balanced no real noticeable differences from the stock cable, if you're going to get it you should get it for the fact that it is a really good cable.
