What's the point of this drop, if the price difference is a meagre 5$? S6 rui at Linsoul costs 389$ and in here 384$! Really thought of joining the drop, when i got a mail regarding S4 and S6. But seeing such meagre savings, i better buy from somewhere else. Not worth to buy from here. Whatever savings massdrop provides, goes to either shipping charges or local taxes.

LillianS6 rui is only available in silver, same as the one in Linsoul. And even after shipping charges, i would only save 5$!!! Even Penon gives me a better discount than this and better chances of no customs. And even better, i would be listening to it by the time massdrop ships!

The base model priced st $389 appears to be a completely clear shell as well as face plate. The glitter silver option adds the additional $25. imRGZYou misunderstand, I believe...
First, the Massdrop drop does NOT give you the option to customize. Second what is for sale on MD is NOT the base model... What @Lillian is trying say is that if you went to their website and recreated this exact unit that it would cost more. So you are getting a customized version at a price equivalent to the base price...

LillianOkay. My bad. Just checked other sites keenly. Yes what you said is right. You are just getting a discounted price for an aesthetic difference. Which doesnt in any way effect the SQ. But still, i am interested in enjoying its SQ, rather than its outside beauty. With all the things considered like shipping times, higher chances of customs if bought from massdrop and not much difference in price, its better for me to buy it from Penon/Linsoul. Even i can get the same silver colored one for approximately same price as here.

imRGZSince where I live I don’t have to worry about the customs/import costs, I cannot comment.
In terms of getting the same price for the same faceplate as offered on MD? Maybe you have a discount code, otherwise I would be a little surprised. But you can get the stock look for almost the same price for sure!
In terms of shipping time... I only waited two weeks for my S8F, so no doubt it is possible to get it faster. But it will depend on the customization options you are choosing, the level of demand at the time, shipping option the vendor selects (DHL is very fast from China to the US), and the country you are in. But, could be faster than MD - anyone who has ever bought much on MD knows that delivery speed is not part of the MD value proposition!

rmais682DHL picked up the package in Hong Kong (not sure where in China it originated and sent to HK). DHL carried all the way to my home without transfer to anyone else.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?
I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. Looking for a gaming/content audio setup
Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

$10 Drop Coupon Email not sent?
Trying to buy some gear off Drop for the first time. I was told I would receive an email with a welcome to drop $10 off promo. I never received that email. Drop was able to send me emails for my login token and email for Password update. But for some reason the $10 off coupon was never sent to me.

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
