Havent heard the S6's, but I did have the S8's and I hated them. Way too harsh and zero bass. they were promptly sold.

I've never bought by Linsoul. I have used Massdrop (two months) and PenonAudio (1week) and times to deliver are like they offer. But, spend the same money and more time for delivery, I don't see the profit on this for customer.

What's the point of this drop, if the price difference is a meagre 5$? S6 rui at Linsoul costs 389$ and in here 384$! Really thought of joining the drop, when i got a mail regarding S4 and S6. But seeing such meagre savings, i better buy from somewhere else. Not worth to buy from here. Whatever savings massdrop provides, goes to either shipping charges or local taxes.

DHL picked up the package in Hong Kong (not sure where in China it originated and sent to HK). DHL carried all the way to my home without transfer to anyone else.

I bought from Linsoul once before and they were pretty quick to ship the in stock item. If you customize this product to he equivalent to the style offered here I believe you end up with a price about $414 and it probably would not ship right away becouse of the custom nature of the order. The base model priced st $389 appears to be a completely clear shell as well as face plate. The glitter silver option adds the additional $25. Having said that, the Massdrop option is about a $34 savings and will presumably ship in about 3 weeks and arrive in about 4. I doubt Linsoul would get them to you any quicker unless you paid an expedited shipping option.

CyberthingyBase version sold here is silver color only. There is no customization options available here. And savings are just 5$! Kindly check the product overview link. There is nowhere mentioned that one can change faceplates.

CyberthingyMaybe... I had a great experience with the time to get my S8F with customized faceplate from Linsoul. But I may have hit the window just right.

On the S6 I can only count 5 drivers from the description. is this just me ?
"the S6 boasts six drivers, including a Sonion dual bass driver, one Knowles mid-frequency driver, and two Knowles treble drivers."
So 1 dual bass =2, + 1 on mid, + 2 high, 2 +1+2 = 5.... not sure who is the math expert at Massdrop ...
