I'm trying to decide if I want to jump on this buy. I have been looking at getting a de for awhile now, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Would this work well as someone's first de? My skin is a bit sensitive but not overly and my beard growth is really slow. At 24 hours from a shave I can feel a slight stubble but can't really see it.

TheVincenzoI think its too expensive for a first DE, try a Gillette Red Tip/Fatboy or a Merkur 34c HD

TheVincenzoPrice notwithstanding, this would be a good first DE if you jumped in. Very mild shaver. Edwin Jagger DE89 is another mild razor, great finish (chromed in the same factory as Rolls Royce) and is relatively inexpensive. EJ also recently teamed up with Amazon to release the Kelvin; same head as the DE89 but shorter handle and a few dollars less.
