I don't understand the high price for these razors. I know that during the 80s this was a standard issue razor given to inmates, yes prison inmates they would turn in their old razor blade and were given a new one. This price should be on the high side of $40 not $147.99. Maybe for the hundred dollars you could pretend that you were taking a shave in the big house. PS. Don't drop the soap.

WallyGatorA bit old but the type of razor you are describing is like the Gillette Psycho as it has been termed on the internet. It was meant for institutions and the blade was locked so they couldn't get to it like you describe and then turn it in. This isn't that razor, and this is stainless steel, which that razor isn't. Funny enough, if you were to try to buy one of those institutional razors now from ebay or elsewhere, you are likely to spend almost as much or typically more if you want the key to open it, so you're still saving money by buying this. I ordered one on Amazon just a few days ago so I unfortunately missed out on this, but only losing out on 10 dollars.
