I was first introduced to DE shaving when I joined Massdrop 2 years ago and bought the Edwin Jagger DE89bl. I used to be a $5 Mach 4 cartridge kinda guy and I'm amazed at how cost effective it is to buy disposable feather blades instead of cartridges. Almost makes up for the money I spend on fancy brushes and soap :)
I'm a convert, shaving is now an enjoyable "experience" for me instead of a "burden". Not ready to pull the trigger on a $150 razor yet but soon.... (trying to decide if I should just wait and go with a straight razor instead...)
