These are supposedly the best DE blades! However I use Astras which are, even at the best price bracket, about 1/3 of the price. That and Astras are plenty sharp. My Merkur 39C might make mince meat of my face with Feathers.

jabsFeathers are good blades, but not necessarily the best. Blade selection is dependent on a person's face and the razor they're using; best blade for one person may not be the best for another(I loathe feathers personally, as they shred my face), and best blade for one person in one razor may not even be best blade in a different handle.
