I bought this one during a prior drop. While I prefer my Feather safety razor w/Feather blades in terms of convenience and comfort, this straight razor is my go-to travel option if I need to have a close shave for whatever reasons. However, despite its good quality and that of the Feather blades it does not beat what I get from my vintage straight razor. However, as mentioned, it is my go-to option for a close shave when my vintage SR is not available (including needing to hone, sharpen, etc.). You won't go wrong buying this unit and it will pay for itself within a year considering the prices of the tossit razors these days (although a safety razor would be even cheaper, although the quality of the straight razor shave in the hands of a trained individual is significantly better)
