Can you mount this at the top of the camera rail? I'm thinking of getting something like this for outdoor macro photography and focus stacking.
Also I'm not seeing a battery spec so I'm wondering how you power this up

MDuhI found on amazon that it requires 12 dc. The battery and power supply are NOT included

MDuhyup, 1/4"Thread Socket(All 4 Sides) is available and it could be mounted at the top of camera with an extra hot shoe mount. Please check below. And it could be powered by LP-E6 or F970 battery. Please indicate which model of battery would be fit for you so that we could provide with suitable battery plate. And it could be powered by DC 6-14V as well.
