Designed by established custom spinning top maker Steven Robbins, this Fiddle Foundry top employs modern techniques to create a durable, stunning design for everyday carry. Made in Western Massachusetts under Steven’s supervision, each top is hand finished from a single piece of stainless steel and fitted with a hard ceramic bearing. The understated midsection, with its discreet rounded look, was designed to be pocket-friendly and durable, while the collar and stem is where the top shows a more daring side. The stem features knurling designed for both grip and easy of carry and is paired with the distinctive angular collar close to the body. The result is like looking at a rook in a game of chess. The hollow stem lowers the top’s center of gravity for longer spin times. The top’s design and low clearance rewards good spin technique and will spin for 11-14 minutes on a smooth, clean surface.
