I own a FiiO E10, and wholeheartedly recommend it - even at retail price - to anyone looking to upgrade from their motherboard's onboard sound. It gives more life to your headphones, turn on the bass boost for a little extra kick. At 60ohms, it puts out PLENTY of sound, I never turn it up past volume level 5 with my headphones. As a DAC, I'm very pleased.
This is a really great product, I recommend that anybody even considering it should snatch it up. You won't regret it.

bobburghartAlso, this can be used as a USB -> digital coax interface as a pass-thru for other DACs that lack a USB input.
I have the original (non-Olympus) and it gets daily use at work.
