If you're looking or a good entry level AMP/DAC Combo, this is a great product. TLDR: Great amp, less effective DAC compared to on-board audio. Keep that in mind if you're looking to buy this. Have been using it for almost 3 years until recently where I upgraded to the Topping stack (D30+A30). Used it with several different headphones: My daily driver IEMs - the VSonic VSD3, the Audio Technica M50x (Which frankly disappoint with this one), the Sennheiser HD598 and Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pros. My first impression was great, but I was a little biased because my on-board audio was rubbish. Had the Z87-DS3H at the time which I had suffered interference issues on my Sennheiser cans, so clearly the clear and amplified sound was much better than through on-board audio. Compared to the Z97 Krait SLI however, which did give clear sound, I couldn't notice much difference in sound clarity or vibrancy. Same went for the M50x which I got later on, with the volume being the most of the difference between on-board and the E10K, even compared to the quality on my old Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X or the Oneplus 6, the difference listening to lossless audio files (local FLACs or through Tidal) wasn't that noticeable. The difference did however come when I got my DT1990 Pros. Of course cans with 250 ohm resistance have volume issues on the on-board audio so the amp did very well here. Thing is - finally I actually notice a difference in sound quality, even though the 24bit/96khz DAC is the same, the higher quality pair did make the difference noticeable. Sadly, however, the DAC started acting up recently, making popping sounds on the Beyer pair. On the M50x or the Vsonic IEMs everything is fine, same with the speakers that were connected via the line-out connection. In conclusion: Great amp, less effective DAC if you have a PC from 2013/14 and onward. Do note that it could also have issues with higher end headphones like I have with my DT 1990 Pros. Would definitely recommend this as an add-on to a pair of entry level Sennheiser cans. Last thing, price is identical to Amazon, and there are probably discounts from time to time there so have a look there as well.
