We launched the drop after we received confirmation that we will be able to take all the available E18 in the Fiio inventory (which we did) as well as getting the remaining order from the impending scheduled production run.
Unfortunately due to some last minute order reshuffling from Fiio’s end as a result of the the demand of E18 from CES, as well as the limited factory resources due to the impending Chinese new year holidays, nailing down the last 50 E18 has been slightly more challenging than we were lead to believe before launching the drop.
There are few additional vendors we are working with at the moment to procure the remaining E18 needed for this drop. But the closer we get to the Chinese new year, the more likely that we will not be able to get our order fulfilled before the end of the holiday (second week of February) regardless of who we end up getting the E18 from.
Rest assured, we will definitely be able source all the E18 everyone ordered, and if the wait does extend into February, there will certainly be some compensation offered in terms of credits. At the moment, we are hopeful that we will be able to get all the remaining E18 in the next few days from our back up vendors.
