I should have said, however, that I'm not sure where Massdrop gets these MSRPs. Fiio sold this for $350 right off the bat. Having said that, the lowest available price for this is still a good deal.
I guess that Massdrop's MSRP is the highest MSRP valid somewhere on the globe (when it should of course be the US one).
You're absolutely correct! I was myself wondering the same, as soon as I've noticed the MSRP indicated on this drop... it's not the first time this happens, to the point I'm starting to believe these MSRPs are inflated on purpose. Yes, the lowest achievable price is not bad... but it would still be closer to the actual retail price than what Massdrop would like us to believe. So... I do join you in your puzzlement about these inflated MSRPs.
