"Fulfillment problems" for 30 units? Please, it's not even 300 units, and these things are not individually hand crafted high precision fail-safe instruments. Chinese New Year is 4 months ago. Looks like someone at Fiio thinks the price is too low. If the next drop is at the same price ($299 lowest), I will shut up.

Hey Royalflush,
Thanks for your post! The vendor we were working with only had 30 units allocated for this drop(29 purchases and one extra for support purposes). We would very much like to let this buy continue, 30 was the maximum available this time around.
When products are so heavily voted for, we do our best to make them available in the most timely manner possible. This time, there were only 30 units allocated, hopefully there will be more in the future (and ideally at the same price).
In the mean-time, feel free to send me an email with any questions or concerns you have (will@massdrop.com).

Hi Will, Don't take it the wrong way from my cynical post. I think you (and all of the staff at Massdrop) are doing a great job. Even if you could get more X5s for a new drop, but at a higher price, it just shows how capitalism works. Indicating maximum limits of every drop (if any) should be standard operating procedure, unless you can tell me specific examples of why this is not desirable. Take it easy, you do work long hours.
