How does A4000 compare to IE300 in terms of soundstage, imaging, separation (or in general)? I can't find any direct comparison between these two IEMs.

(A version of this comment was originally posted under the comment section of the A3000) I own the A4000. Bought it on a whim. It’s criminally underrated. Sparkling highs and clear, tight low end. Eye opening soundstage (wasn’t expecting it at all, but it’s big for an iem). Plays everything well. Love it and one of my daily drivers (along with the 7hz Timeless, Moondrop Kanas Pros and the CA Atlas). Comments by some reviewers about its sibilant highs are overblown. I’m pretty sensitive to sibilance (which is why I can’t stand the TH900s in any implementation), but the A4000s aren’t that at all. FR does show 6-8k peaks, but those are harmless. At this price point, it’s basically a steal. Go ahead and buy two. Great bang for the buck and highly recommended.

Commenting to let people know it is absolutely possible to change the wire. I used the Linsoul Euphrosyne. Much nicer. This is actually the A3000 as I much preferred the sound to the A4000. But they both use the 2 pin system, so thought it would be useful. A lot of 2 pin wires already have a groove on the correct side. It just only requires scoring with an xacto a couple of times. After that it fits perfectly and snug.

Headfonics review of the Final A3000 & A4000 https://headfonics.com/final-a3000-a4000-review/ "The all-rounder A3000 has good potential to scale up with output power and displays a very wide stage, while the A4000 displays strong treble performance that makes Jpop and Kpop thrilling."

wfmsiekierkagot them a few days early! if you plan on using stock tips A4000's win in soundstage for sure as the OH10's only come with stub tips but if you use your own tips they are pretty close but I give the A4000's a slight edge (did my comparison using Tin Blue Tips)

I received my A4000 yesterday afternoon. I'm going to burn them in as per Final's recommendation before writing a review. It's probably going to be a couple of weeks away. For those who don't want to wait, this YouTube review is pretty spot on based on my initial listening: (2) Final Audio A4000 Review: soundstage specialists; HD800's in your pocket! - YouTube

I bought a set of Final Audio E500's here with my rewards points & was surprised at how well the performed at the price. It made me curious about the rest of their offerings so I took a listen to the A4000's about a month ago. Very nice with above average sound staging. I definitely had them on my short list for a good, travel friendly set of IEM's. My only knock on them is that the plastic housings made them look like a $50 set. Their sound was commensurate with their price though & they are extremely light & comfortable. Not a big IEM.

I'm a fan of Final Audio. I just bought another pair of E2000s after my ex-girlfriend lost the pair I lent her on a trip. Those are tiny and will fit any ear, but don't incorporate ear-hooks. These look well made and should be sensitive enough to not need amplification. Those little E2000s didn't necessarily need an amp, but man they shined with added power...
