The detail on these is toe-curling. I'd rank them above everything I've heard up to and including the Audeze, especially taking price into consideration (I have not heard the TH900 or HE6). They're no HE-1000, but that's 6x the cost. They are extremely easy to drive, and yes, they're closed back, but the soundstage is remarkably large for being so. One thing I noticed is that the bottom level subbass at very low volumes could use a boost, but that can be handled by EQ or by upping the volume a bit. They are heavy. Most go for the Shure 1540 pads if you want an upgrade.
