This is terrible.
I only get one battery lid opener and 2 CR1632 batteries.
I DO NOT find the following in the package:
1. the FIND tag
2. the User’s manual
What's the point of delivering me battery lid opener and the battery without the FIND tag itself??
How would I be able to trust Massdrop for the next purchse if the delivered items are not complete. It even missed the most important item.
I just got one of these in a gift box, sadly it doesn't work with any of my devices. (Galaxy Tab 4 is the newest device I have) The manufacture site sends me to the play store via https://bitly.com/ which is odd...
Tactical_KeychainsHello,
The FIND will work with any Android phone running Android 4.3 and above versions. Kindly have a look at the usage guide @ http://www.sensegiz.com/find-installation-usage-guide/ for more guidance for using the tag.

Lame response from company on a substandard product:
Send this email and the FIND to the address below and we will replace it. US Mail return is fine.
When we get it, we will let you know.
When we send your replacement, we will let you know.
It may take a bit of time because inventory is still scarce (we are just starting in production as you know).
If you have questions, go ahead and send them to this email.
Mail your FIND(s) to:

Please refund my money on this product….build quality is poor and many people are experiencing problems with the product. Support is also non-existent from the company. The door would not open on one unit and the other unit fell apart before I even had a chance to install the battery....WORST product experience I have HAD in a LONG TIME!

iOS. I am not terribly interested in continued troubleshooting. The poor quality of the tags is equalled only by the ridiculously poor app.

Even if everything worked properly out of the box, the software alone makes the tag a beta product.
1. Battery doors do not open readily. "Tapping" the opposite side of the device does not work. 2. Tags do not reliably stay connected. 3. Only one alarm sound is available and it is annoying as hell. Your proposed solution is to turn off the alarms.
JJS24Hello Sir,
The iOS and Android apps are being updated once or twice a month. We will keep improving the product. Kindly check if you are running the latest iOS app from the app store.
App will re-connect back to any FIND tag within 5-10 seconds after disconnection. We will also be updating the apps by the end of this month with some performance improvements. Our usage guide has additional suggestions on opening the batter door, kindly check.

Poor build quality... one of the battery doors would not open. Finally got it open and then the battery door would not sit flush. Now the tag will only intermittently connect.. The iOS app is an embarassment. Buzzers no longer work either.

On one device, that worked. On the second device, the buzzer played in one instance several minutes later and in another, over half an hour after I pressed the buzzer. Phone and device were within 3 feet of each other at the time. Also had an episode of uncontrolled alarm noise playing on the phone. I want my money back.
JJS24Kindly confirm if you are using Android or iOS so that we can help you to troubleshoot. Please try restarting the app and the phone: that can help.
Please also check if the phone's Bluetooth settings menu shows the FIND tags as "paired devices".
Please select the "manual search" mode in high range from the app settings to avoid alarms on the phone.
@sewingcybermom: The Specs section in the description page on Massdrop mentioned that the FIND tags worked with Android devices running version 4.3 and newer and not older versions.

It would have been nice to know that this doesn't work on my device BEFORE I bought it. There was no list of available devices, etc. Not nice Massdrop....how do I return them?

Setup instructions for using the FIND tags with the FIND app
Getting Started is easy. You'll need to install the battery and download the app. From there you will connect the FIND to the App and then you're done. In less than 5 minutes you'll be able to connect your phone to your FIND, attach it to something important to you and always know where you left it. On your mobile device (or devices because FIND can be shared on your devices or on your friend's or families' devices) download and install the “FIND App” from the iOS app or Google Play Store. Search for SenseGiz FIND or use the links given below: iOS http://bit.ly/1vP6ONX Android http://bit.ly/1rEtJxX For all details about using the FIND TAG, visit http://bit.ly/1tdo57C
Compatibility For iOS: iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c/5s, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPod touch 5th generation & iPad mini. For Android: All Android devices supporting Android 4.3 and above versions.
Installing the battery FIND ships without battery installed. Always use the battery opener tool provided to open the battery lid. For inserting the battery, please ensure that the +ve (with the brand name of the battery on it) is facing the top and the –ve side is facing the bottom of the FIND casing. Please ensure that you use the battery opener tool to rotate the lid clock-wise and then tap the FIND a few times from the opposite side to open the lid. To know how to insert a new battery or replace the old one, please check out the following video: http://bit.ly/1jXfWee and http://bit.ly/1r4o2tb
Connecting to the app: The FIND can ONLY be connected from the FIND app & cannot be connected from Bluetooth settings menu of your Phone. Please open the FIND app, & press the round refresh button in the top left to find it. Since this is a Bluetooth low energy product, it can only be accessed from the app & not from the Bluetooth settings menu. Please click on “PAIR” when prompted by the app after pressing connect. Please ensure that you have internet connectivity & Bluetooth is turned on at all times. Please watch a demo of how the find works and the different options of the FIND APP: http://bit.ly/VR23Jq and http://bit.ly/1m6Wnod
The FIND will reconnect automatically to the app every time it is back in range after an automatic disconnection. It might take 5-10 seconds to reconnect automatically
Ownership: Once connected, the FIND is registered to your user account. Other users will be able to connect to the same FIND tag only if the original owner shares it with them via the app.
FIND has a white colored double sided adhesive tape on the backside. Please take off the top layer to stick the FIND to objects like laptops, remote controls etc.

I received my order and one of the Fine Tags has a battery door that is stuck. I am using the tool provided and emailed company's support....no answer and no existent support. Nice company that delays product shipping and then fails to support it!
Mehere@Mehere : What is your email address please? We could not locate your email asking for support.
Please ensure that you use the battery opener tool to rotate the lid clock-wise and then tap the FIND a few times from the opposite side to open the lid. Only a moderate amount of force is needed to twist open the lid using the opener tool.
Are you able to rotate the the lid clockwise/anti-clockwise using the opener? Please confirm. Once it is rotated clockwise, please try to pop it open by by tapping it from the opposite side. To know how to insert a new battery or replace the old one, please check out the following videos: http://bit.ly/1jXfWee and http://bit.ly/1r4o2tb
