$250 seems a little steep for something that only does D1 resolution and only 150 x Optical

NerysThat's exactly what I was thinking. Is there one with a 4k (or at least 1080p) option? Maybe the optics are just so bad that a HD imaging chip would just make that blindingly clear.... I don't know, but I was excited for a moment. I've been wanting a camera attachment for my microscope, and a whole compact package would be fine as well.
