Seems like a plausible story in the video to me. Don't think I'd make up a story that had high potential to bring on a lawsuit just to sell a knife. Survival On Purpose does some pretty good videos on gear including a field test of this knife. I've followed him on YouTube for awhile & enjoy his vids. Don't have the funds to jump on this one right now but the price is not out of line for quality fixed blades. Elmax is an awesome blade steel. Wish someone would show a 'rattle-test' with the sheath. That's a serious concern I have with Kydex.

Ogen_the_MaticI know this thread is 2 yrs old, but I recently bought a 5150 because I wanted a one piece blade out of Elmax. The sheath does rattle a little, but less than the other knife I have with a kydex sheath. Your comment made me curious if I could reduce the amount of play/rattle in the sheath. Since the sheath uses hex screws instead of rivets, I took my sheath apart and added two strips of 3m electrical tape on either side. (I used red so it's easier to see.) It took all of the slop out and also adds a little bit of sound absorption of sliding the knife into the sheath. It doesn't rattle at all when I hold the sheath and shake it. Mission accomplished!
