I have received mine. It has been my first drop, and I decided to buy two of them as gifts. Well, saying it provides a neutral sound would be too benevolent IMO. My wife and I agree this IEM model is definitely more in the highs. Bass are really missing when compared to my plain-old stock Samsung mic+IEM I still use with my Galaxy S5. I can get by far much better sound from a $25 IEM I got from Amazon last year, though no mic. Sorry for being blunt (maybe I got a pair of lemmons) but I close my eyes and the IEB6 sound makes me remember those dirt-cheap IEM you are given for free during flight. Noise isolation is good, but I feel this model isn't worth neither the price, nor any audiophile praise. I wouldn't recommend it :./
// EDIT ON 20160803 // I can't fully confirm whether it was burn-in, but with some little help from VLC equalizer, and some trial-and-error process in finding the right ear plugs, this little IEMs have passed the test... THEY ARE REALLY WORTH THE PRICE!

different flicks for different chicks I suppose. I think they have really decent bass at their price point, any more would be bloaty. But I like flat sound signatures a lot more than bass monsters. And the extension on these is pretty damn good for price.

Before and/or after any burn-in?

bass didn't change much if at all with burn in on these little guys. Maybe the treble toned down like 1db, really not much difference post burn in. perhaps it got a bit smoother? It's hard to be objective. I find them great to listen to now though my home gear destroys them. for portable use they are amazing for price though I don't think anybody wouldn't be happy with them. I suggest using the clip that comes with them though because they do pick up a lot of cable noise otherwise. cheers.

I do really appreciate your detailed answer! I am curious whether I would notice the difference, if any. I bought two units, and I am burning the first one in.
