The community should seek a mass drop deal on the Fisher infinium space pen. It is a pricier option that scares some away, but it has 32 miles or so of ink, so they pretty much warranty it for life. If you ever run out of ink, mail it to them and they will take care of it. The design is similar, but it is larger. I have had several fisher bullet pens, and I have found they are uncomfortably small to me, but I have been using the infinium comfortably all day every day at work going on a year now. Love it.
Edit: In response to noahkareus. If the Infinium fails to write, they will fix or replace it. I just received a replacement for mine in the mail for what may have been the same issue he mentioned.

mlwillardI have used these pens for a long time and if you have ever dropped one on the ballpoint it can create a gap in the line that draw because the ball isn't spinning even anymore. That's why I have never been a fan of the super big cartridge.

noahkareusI wonder if that would be something they would cover in their warranty if it bothered you enough. (The damage to the roller ball I mean)
