This pen was on Drop a few weeks ago for $60. Now, it's $90. Quite the jump. I've seen prices fluctuate on other products, too, so I can't tell when I'm getting the best deal.

Not seeing much worth buying of late, hope this is not a trend.

That's quite a leap from the standard $20 Fisher space pen. I like the minimalist unadorned look of that one better anyway.

I'm seeing some pretty bad reviews on Amazon and videos of the pen falling apart with a bit of pressure. I feel like I might pass on this.

But it's "only" 90 dollars! What do you have to lose? 90 dollars.

Which look do you guys prefer? I really want to get one but I can't decide between finishes. Also the pictures for the full TiNi finish and TiNi with Chrome Infinium look exactly the same, am I missing something?

It will last for your lifetime, if it ever runs out of ink or fails, reach out to Fisher and they will send you a brand new one. That's what they say.

Disposable, non-refillable, $90 titanium pen..? Seems like a conflicting set of product specs, honestly. With no info on how much actual writing this can do, it's a little hard to evaluate against my lifetime. Fisher needs to still be making these in order to replace them... can't say I'm bullish on getting my replacement when it runs out 50 years from now. On the other hand, I'm certain I'll still be able to get bottled inks.

This particular pen does not refill. If you run out of ink, which I have three times, you send the pen into Fisher and they send you a new one!

Could you please bring the original AG7 Space Pen to Drop? That would be great.

How strong is the pen? In my law enforcement job, should I expect it to bend, break or crack easily should I fall on it or something similar?

"How strong is the pen?" I saw one lift a car and free a man who was pinned beneath it. That seems pretty strong for a pen.

thats a fine looking pen! Unfortunately i dont have a desk job to need a fancy pen though. I do own a tactical pen i recieved as a gift but it still sits in the box so i guess ill put the money towards something I will use like a knife. It is a cool looking pen though.

NASA spent millions developing a pen that would write in space, while the Russians thought hey, a pencil is fine :)
