I happened upon this on Overstock and purchased it for my pieces which are larger than my paper cutter board. It works phenomenally. No frayed edges or missed cuts. I use aluminum rulers and nice cutting mats, so I'm sure that helps. But I would certainly recommend this to any illustrator.
