Performance Socks, Made in the USA

In 2008, Fitsok set out to make an everyday performance sock that fit better, felt better, and kept you going mile after mile. The CF2 cushion  low cut style stays true to that, combining comfort and longevity for a long-lasting sock. The Synthetic Shadow yarn transfers moisture and heat away from highly concentrated areas to reduce saturation, while the mesh venting and Flowtek channels move additional moisture and heat away to keep your feet warm and dry in wet conditions. A Microban antimicrobial coating helps prevent odor-causing bacteria and keep the socks smelling fresher longer. Finally, enhanced cushioning at the heel and forefoot prevents blisters and provides extra comfort during rigorous activities.

Note: This drop is for a 3-pack of the same socks. At checkout, you’ll have your choice of color: black, gunmetal, tricolor, or white. Available sizes will vary depending on the color chosen.

It may not have been this exact SKU that I joined a year or two ago, but I did buy a 3-Pak of Fitsock/Massdrop socks back then, one pair of which I'm wearing right now. Saying that I'm wearing them now is not an endorsement however. Like this drop, they list XL as fitting up to size 14. It is literally all I can do to get the ones I got all the way on my feet without getting a bunch-uppie in the arch. All three pair of them have spent about 10 X's more time in my sock drawer than on my feet. They are way too tight, both around my feet and at the top, where both leave a pronounced indentation mark on my upper-ankle/lower calf. When I joined the drop I didn't own any shoes or boots larger than size 13, which I'd been wearing comfortably for maybe 7 or 8 years. When I bought them I was in the process of experimenting with different blends to see what works best to alleviate the horrible case of neuropathy that I suffer from. Recently I was prescribed a salve that I'm supposed to apply 3 - 4 times per day to treat it, which works better than any meds I've ever taken for it, but which is also very greasy. The Fitsock socks are needed so I can wear lightweight, mesh tennis shoes to keep from spreading the greasy substance everywhere around the house, while at the same time allowing air-flow to help keep my feet cool in the ungodly hot/humid weather we've been having down here all summer. A year or more after I bought them, my feet have grown again from 13s to 14s, so combined with the layer of greasy stuff on my feet and the extra size, it is very close to impossible to get them on all the way, and the tightness is worse than the last time I had them on. Size 14 is bunk. I had nothing sticky or greasy on my feet when I bought them as a size 13, but they were still too tight and uncomfortable because of that. I'm headed to town today to see if I can find some low-cut or ankle socks made out of Coolmax (or similar) that actually fit. If/when I find 'em, these Fitsocks are going in the trash.
