Though FIYTA may be known for its space-themed timepieces, the company steps into the world of boating with the Yachtsman automatic. Made with a multi-layered stainless steel case in myriad finishes, this watch fits well in virtually any setting. The engine behind it is an automatic Miyota F8315.3 movement with a whopping 60-hour power reserve—around 1.5 times that of a typical automatic movement. At first glance, the dial appears spare and clean, but look a little closer and you’ll notice a two-toned tessellation pattern that gleams at certain angles. All models feature a stainless steel bezel and clock in at 42 millimeters, except the GA852001.PKK and GA852001, which are slightly larger and come with a ceramic bezel.
Note: At checkout, choose from the following models: GA852000.PWK (base price), GA852000.BBB (base price), GA852000.WWW (base price) GA852000.WWB (- $10), GA852001.PKK (+ $20), or GA852001.WLW (+ $20).
You could say that space is in FIYTA’s DNA. Since its founding in 1987, the Chinese company has become synonymous with professional space and aeronautics watches—so much so that it actually supplied the pilot behind China’s first manned spaceflight mission, Shenzhou 5, with one of its proven timepieces. Ever since that successful launch in 2003, FIYTA has been providing Chinese astronauts with reliable watches for both ground trainings and spaceflight missions.
